1.Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the JobMaker platform (“Service”), you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms of Service (“Terms”), and agree to be legally bound by them. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2.Description of Services
JobMaker provides a cloud-based platform for creating, managing, and sharing job descriptions and hiring workflows. Features include AI-assisted writing, template management, team collaboration, integrations with third-party tools, and analytics dashboards.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such changes.
3.User Accounts
To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the security of your password and account credentials.
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorised use of your account.
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
4.Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Post or share content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or discriminatory.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
- Distribute malware, spam, or any harmful code.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform without prior written consent.
- Resell or sublicense the Service without authorisation.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any violations, including account termination and legal action.
5.Intellectual Property
JobMaker and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the platform, including software, design, trademarks, and content produced by JobMaker. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any platform IP.
Content you create using the Service (such as job descriptions) remains your property. By using our platform, you grant JobMaker a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your content solely to deliver the Service to you.
6.Payment & Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees.
We may update pricing with at least 30 days’ notice. Continued use of the Service after a pricing change constitutes acceptance of the new fees. Overdue accounts may result in suspension of access until outstanding balances are resolved.
7.Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases and your data will be deleted according to our data retention policy.
8.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JobMaker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to JobMaker in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.
9.Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which JobMaker is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
10.Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where changes are material, notify you via email or an in-product notice at least 14 days in advance.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service before the effective date.
